Privacy

Short version: we do not know who you are, and we do not try to find out.

What we do not do

• No accounts or sign-ups.
• No cookies.
• No ads and no ad trackers.

What stays on your device

So you never hear the same artist twice, the site keeps a list of the artists you have already heard. It also keeps a copy of clip details to make the next spin faster. Both are stored in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

What is sent to other services

• The artist you type is sent to MusicBrainz and ListenBrainz (through our cache) to find who they are and who their listeners also play.
• Your browser asks Apple for 30-second previews and cover art, and plays them from Apple. Apple sees that request, as with any Apple Music link.
• Clip details (song name, album and Apple links, never anything about you) are shared in our cache so the next visitor does not have to ask Apple again.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect the site.
